Designing and making wedding cakes for people you know is unexpectedly terrifying. I'm so glad this one turned out like we'd planned. 🙏🏼

Three tiers, three layers in each tier.

At the bottom, a rich chocolate sponge, choc-orange frosting filling and white chocolate naked/crumb frosting.

In the middle, a beautiful carrot cake smothered in vanilla bean frosting.

And on top, a lemon sponge with a blueberry compote filling and a lemon frosting.

Finished with gold butterflies and a personalised name and date topper.

This one was a pleasure. ♥️
