All you need is love…and ice cream 💙

When Eve messaged to say that her and Bob were having some wedding photos taken at their favourite places around Trevose Head and could they come to Enid’s, it was a big fat yaaaaaas! We put the ‘Mr & Mrs Windsor-Poulton’ newlywed special up on the board (double chocolate and mint choc chunk in a tub FYI 😉) and they came and had these super cute snaps taken by our mate Andy Lawson / U Got The Love / wedding photography

It’s amazing to think that the little blue van holds such special meaning for you, and was lush to be a part of your wedding memories. Here’s wishing you a lifetime of happiness, good times, and plenty of ice cream!! 💍🍦

Our last fundraising effort for this season…☕️✨

The most adorable mugs, all different and uniquely handmade by Amy Mills Ceramics at ~ £10 each from the little blue van, which includes a free coffee in the mug of your choice!

Lots of you will know the lovely Emeline who’s scooped at Enid’s for the last few years. Foxcote Pottery is a studio at her family’s farm in the Cotswolds, and she’s brought down these wonderful ‘seconds’ made by potter Amy Mills to sell and raise money for The Sunrise Appeal ~ the charity that helps fund cutting-edge cancer treatments in Cornwall.

A little reminder that Enid’s is still OPEN DAILY 🙌🍦💙

Genuinely, the hugest thank you to everyone who came to see us at the little blue van during the hottest and busiest August we’ve ever known. It’s been absolutely bonkers at times, and there’s been a lot of extra fire fighting behind the scenes to try and keep up with it all, but seeing you all come back day-in-day-out for your scoops makes it all worth it. Supporting local, independent businesses is sooooo important if you want to see them stick around, so thank you 🫶

Our scooping stamina might have taken a little hit but we’ll recharge as we go through September ☕️🍦🧋🌊

The penpals are back! 🥹👏

These two met at Mother Ivey’s and continue to hang out on their holidays every year, with a lovely annual tradition of coming to Enid’s for an ice cream and having a photo by our sign ~ they’ve really grown up this year!!

They still keep in touch throughout the year although they’ve said they’ve become ‘WhatsApp pals’ nowadays. Penpal photos from 2026 -> 2025 -> 2024 -> 2023 -> 2022 💙🍦

Sooo we haven’t posted on the grid much recently because we’ve been flat out scooping all day long, but we were told something yesterday that absolutely made our day and wanted to share…

A couple came up to the little blue van and said that they overheard someone in Padstow the night before talking about the best ice cream they’d ever had. The couple asked where they were talking about and they said Enid’s, so the couple then said they’d planned their entire next day just to find us and eating ice cream!! It’s just the best to hear about people recommending us 🥹👏
