PRIVATE DINING … great weekend partnering with .bar to host Julia’s special birthday celebrations. It was an early start Saturday to prep and deliver a 6 course feast celebrating the very best of local. Plus our surprise cake for the birthday girl curtesy of the fabulous !

PRIVATE CATERING …. We’ve been working in events and catering for over 20 years and are very privileged at Badger and prior to have been part of some very special celebrations and moments. If you’d like a truly bespoke catering and / or event solution then drop us a DM. As well as our own event spaces we have a network of amazing venue partnerships that we can seamlessly deliver at too.

Special times last Sept for Carla & Rachel … “We came down to Hastings for a little breather and stumbled upon Badger - the owners and staff so welcoming, food outstanding, cocktails moorish, vision was admirable!  After lock down when my mum asked us to take her away a return visit to Badger made perfect sense.  When we returned they warmly welcomed us in and made my antisocial mother the most social I had ever seen her - the hakuna matata cocktails helped!

In 2022 when we were told my mother just had months to live we brought our wedding forward as a surprise for my mum and once again - seeing some of my mums finest moments in Hastings was a natural fit.  From the second I asked them to now I cannot fault the service we were provided.  They were so flexible to the point of rearranging their own plans to accommodate the urgency of the wedding.  They absolutely smashed it - always on hand to ask questions, offer support and guidance and arrange things for us.  They took the stress out of setting up the reception by doing it for us and served us a perfect version of our menu choices alongside a few cheeky hakuna matatas!  We literally had THE BEST wedding and after party - which they also arranged along with the transport to make sure our guests made it on to the next venue!
 
The thing with Badger is they don't just talk the talk! They walk the walk and do it with purpose.  They have a beautiful professional way of making you feel valued as a customer and make you feel like family. They have real commitment to the local community and work beautifully in partnership with other local businesses! I have never seen another business celebrate its partners quite like it! This is one business I cannot wait to see what they achieve next!”

NEW YEAR NEW HOME … exciting news folks! As some of you know we have major ongoing maintenance issues with our building and landlord so we’ve worked our little socks off and have purchased a new venue to house our culinary and hospitality delights.

Please welcome a crazy newly weds (we are mad and never sleep) dream to restore an 18th Century former linen merchants home. Most recently a derelict 13 bed care home it will be our vision for a new dining and accommodation experience celebrating the wealth of local supplies of both country and sea we are so lucky to have. We’ve been working slowly on the project since May 2022 and should be open later this year.

In addition will also be taking up a residency from April this year for a new dining for non residence experience - watch this space for more info and how we’d love you to join.

This week will be our last week at 67 Eversfield Place so it would be fab to see you all for a cuppa and cuddle and to tell you more about our exciting new plans. Go hard or go home always applies …👊

Your support, friendships, loyalty and laughter have been immense and we can’t wait to share new experiences with you this year! ❤️

NEW COCKTAIL RED B***Y! To celebrate the launch of our new exhibition today ‘A Long Way From Home’ by we have a new cocktail the star of the show Norman a Red Footed B***y bird that was found in St Leonards a long way from home!

Private view 5-7pm today with cocktails, lots of specials both small and large plates from our recent Greek travels plus the launch of our little Xmas shop which will have local artist and home made goods popping up in each week.
