Then sign our petition to lower the rate of VAT for hospitality to 10%.

Our pubs, restaurants, cafes, hotels, nightclubs and many more, are at the heart of our communities.

They bring people together and bring life to our cities, towns and villages, but they're under huge pressure from rising costs.

In the UK, you pay one of the highest VAT rates in Europe. 20% extra in VAT for your pint, meal out or stay away. In France, Spain and Italy, it's 10%. In Germany? 7%.

Our message to Government is simple.

Let's stand together to say VAT at 10% is fair for hospitality.

Had our team meeting last night, where we discussed what we can continue to do to bring you, St Ives and our amazing customers, our usual high standards of service, amazing coffee and delicious food!!
Pizza and wine may have been consumed 😉💘😋

Huge shoutout to our very own Tara for absolutely smashing it in 9 to 5 The Musical! 🎭✨

Turns out she’s not just dangerous behind the coffee machine… she can handle a gun too 🔫☕️

The Commute Cafe staff took a night off from serving the drama to watch the drama instead and seeing Tara perform alongside some of our regulars made it even better!

Barista by day. Broadway by night. We’re obsessed 💛
