And so the end has come,
Aprons are off, the final service.
Last pudding’s actually gone
Kitchen’s now closed, cleaned every surface.
We’ve made fantastic friends,
With you we’ve laughed, raised many glasses.
But after all these years home’s where our heart is.
Events, there’ve been a few,
All different sorts, some here I’ll mention,
Wedding days, many buffets
Excellent food our first intention.
Riding school and Bestival
Attrill’s boatyard, we worked so hard,
Ken’s MBE, Christmas parties, Penny’s Pilates.
Yes big birthdays
and wedding cakes
Christenings too, MacMillan bakes
Queen’s jubilee,
Helped raised some funds,
The Village Fayre and Sunday lunch.
Our brilliant staff you’ve were a blast
It was the Ganders way.
Now to our Gosling Joe,
With your fab team cared for our guests.
You were star of the show
Together we were all the best.
Garlic bread and cheesy chips
Odd glass or two has passed our lips.
But we’re cutting loose, cooking our goose # #
We’ve got to fly now.

We have been overwhelmed and touched by all the messages, cards and gifts we received when we announced our closure and retirement.
Joe and our loyal team have been amazing. Suppliers such as Tolchards, Cooper Foods, Medina Foodservice and Powder Monkey Brewery provided us with excellent service and advice. We have made amazing friends. Many customers have given us longstanding support both with bookings and friendships. However, at the end of the day/27 and a half years, Ganders wouldn’t have survived these pieces fitting together.
Thank you all, we will miss you all.
