I thought I would give an update on the information I have received today on the 14th of August about our main access Hall Street and Bickerstaff Street closing to traffic for as far as I’m aware for a minimum of two months. All the businesses will be affected in this area making it even tougher for small businesses of Hall Street, Bickerstaff Street and George Street to run. We are all trying to come together and battle these problems we face , how will we run deliveries ? how can we get our suppliers in ? Where can staff and customers park ? Where do we direct our customers to go ? How long will this take ? There’s many unanswered questions with just 10 days to go and will this cause our businesses to close is the serious and scary thing. All the families without jobs or security, life savings down the drain. It’s upto us people of St Helens to get through this together and I will keep updates going when we receive them. One good thing we have is ONE LOADING BAY between around 15 businesses which will be extended to 10 minutes 👍🏼
