Wow just wow what a night!!
You guys kept us on our toes and queued out the door all night. We were short staffed so we all worked out butts off, Charley bless her only just use to running plates was on the till and did a super job and answering the phone. Mother even at 66 she was awesome running orders taking table orders and helping Ben behind n the kitchen. Ben was on fire and kept all the orders flying out! So if you did have to wait a little while that is the reason why. I think we smiled our way through the chaos !! And appreciate everyone of you guys ordering and keeping us going. Now heading for a shower and a very LARGE glass of wine !

Just a heads up with the rising cost we have no choice but to increase the cost of carrier bags to 15p. So if you want to save those pennies and the planet than please start bringing in your own bags.

We have a lovely customer who comes in every Friday for fish and chips. He brings in treats most weeks, we have said we are being good and trying to lose some weight, so this week he brought Ying and I in a treat …….
Ben had the chocolate cake again!
And we got a …….bag of salad , makes us happy as I needed to get some for my tea!
So we will lose the weight and Ben will be like the Buddha on the top of the range.

Just a heads up, If your planning to come and sit and eat with us we highly recommend you ring and book. Last night I had 5 lots of customers wanting a table which unfortunately we did not have as we were fully booked. I don’t like saying no but sometimes we just can’t squeeze you in. Summer season is fast approaching and it’s also are busiest time. So if you know you’re coming to see us give us a ring 01726 70812 and book a table. 🐟🐠🍤🎣
