I use 3 weather apps - daily, hourly even minute by minute, to decide if we should open when the weather gods are playing with us.

The best thing (I've learned) to do is just open the hut shutters and wait and see what the day brings.

Today, however, I have flicked on all 3 apps, since silly o'clock this morning and I've procrastinated for far too long & left it far too late to actually even think about opening those shutters.

So today folks, we will be CLOSED.

Back tomorrow, it's looking lush, so the apps say. 🫣

It's staying with us all week - as it seems it's your heaven too.

Extra crispy warm smoked streaky bacon on layers of peppery rocket, adorned soft creamy brie, topped with yummy figs & drizzled with balsamic glaze.

Join us to indulge in this classic, perfect blend of sweet & savoury flavours with this beauty of a sandwich.

Fig, brie & bacon sandwich with rocket. Choose a balsamic glaze or a honey drizzle - your preference. Extra sweet|sour or extra sweet|sweet.

Seasonally fresh figs pair with creamy brie, crispy smoked streaky bacon, and peppery rocket all nestled between slices of malted brown or tiger white bread or baguette.

It's an autumnal favourite of mine that's sure to be yours to.

Sometimes, we underestimate our baked potatoes. Sometimes, we don't give them the credit they deserve & sometimes we sell out.

But! They are the most delicious comfort food to enjoy right here with us on the beach.

We bake them fresh, every day. Knowing how many to bake can be tricky but we go for it anyway.

Our chilli con carne special, pictured here, flies out of the hut any day of the season.

You can also load up your spud with any of our sandwich fillings.

And, we keep it simple with your favourites such as tuna & cheese, slaw & cheese and of course baked beans & cheese.

I love that you love them.

Baked every day here at our beach hut (except heatwaves 😜).

Crisp autumn light, coastal views, and a warm welcome hits different on a September beach day. 🌊🥪

​While peak summer brings the crowds, September is quietly the best month on the beach here at Carlyon bay - Crinnis. The sea is at its warmest, the air is refreshing, and there’s space to actually breathe.

We welcome dogs, we have free parking and toilets are plentiful. We have free doggy treats and fresh water.

​Whether you're braving a post-swim dip or taking that brisk dog walk along the shore, we're here to help you keep your hands warm & your stomach full.

We love September at the hut. We love seeing you guys and we love making everything super fresh to order.

We've got you covered for the ultimate beach food including; sandwiches, salads, loaded baked potatoes, our smoky bacon filled sarnies, soups and coffee, plus hot chocolate (no fancy bits 🥰) and a good ole cornish cup of tea. We've got sweet treats and snacks too.

💪 Todays challenge!

Squeezing the chicken gravy pot inbetween the epic sarnie dunker.

When I plan a special, I run through all the details in my head beforehand - The filling, the taste combinations, the 'will folks like this enough to want it' thoughts.

One detail I did forget on this one - How on earth do I squeeze the gravy pot into the box?? 🤷‍♀️😜

With a squeeze and a squish I did it, and this lovely customer loved it.

Dipping the sandwich into the hut made chicken gravy was "fantastic", she said. Just what she needed.

With all the yumminess of sunday roast leftovers and the comforting warmth of a dunk, this lovely lady couldn't get enough.

It's a menu special, not here for long, come try it soon.
