🐶 Save the date 🐶

Join us for our first Autumn dog walk on the 19th September! Our route will be across the fields and around the lake of Verulamium Park, perfect for both two-legged and four-legged friends to stretch their legs and enjoy the fresh air.

We’ll meet at the pub at 9:30am for a complimentary bacon sandwich and hot drink; before setting off at 10am.

We’ll return around midday, just in time for a well-earned drink or perhaps a spot of lunch.

If you’d like to join us, please reserve your free place on our website, so we know how many bacon rashers to count out!

A decade of pints poured, stories shared, friendships made, and countless memories created around our tables.

From our very first day to today, we’ve been incredibly lucky to be part of such a fantastic community. Whether you’ve joined us for a Sunday roast, a family celebration, a quiet pint by the fire, or simply made us your local, thank you for being part of our journey.

Here’s to the team members past and present who have helped make The Prae Wood Arms what it is today, and to all of you who continue to fill our pub with life, laughter and good cheer.

Join us this Saturday 11th July for our next dog walk!

We will be starting the day right with bacon sarnies, teas and coffees (on us!) at 9:30am, followed by a stroll around Verulamium park. We will be back at the pub by 12pm, just in time for a bit of lunch.

Pop your name down on the guest list via our website so our chefs can whip up enough bacon butties for everyone!

The casks are tapped, the bar is stocked, and our Beer Festival is finally here.

Join us from today through to Sunday as we pour 35 beers, ales and ciders from 14 fantastic breweries, with live music, delicious food, a hog roast, Meet the Brewer sessions and plenty going on for the whole family throughout the weekend.

Whether you’re a seasoned ale enthusiast or simply fancy a pint in the sunshine, we’d love to see you.

Free entry, no ticket required, just pop your name on our guest list via our website and come along for a great weekend in the garden.

Our garden kitchen and bar will be firing up and pints will be flowing from Friday to kick off our beer and cider festival🍻

The garden kitchen will be open on Friday from 6pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 12pm🍔

We will also be serving up a succulent hog roast on the Saturday and Sunday so make sure to come on down so you don’t miss out!🥂
