Not every day HAS to be a Buffalo Benedict day I suppose…cool off and freshen up with a Granola Bowl this weekend if you’re feeling the heat 🫐🌷🍓

We’ve upgraded ours with a decadent coconut yoghurt, homemade strawberry compote and a tonne of fresh berries. Tasty and healthy all at once. Who knew!

If you hadn’t noticed it’s actually well hot. This means that we’ve made the decision to reduce our opening hours and menu in order to keep our staff safe from the unrelenting heat of the grill!

- HATCH at Smallford Farm Shop | St Albans Food Hall, Deli & Butchers will be closing the kitchen an hour earlier today. We’ll remain open for coffee and cakes until our usual closing time at 4pm.

- HATCH at Christopher Place will be closing the kitchen between 3pm - 5pm in order to give our chefs a bit of respite from the heat. We will also be operating with a reduced menu during the day time.

Due to the very hot weather and in order to keep our staff safe, we’ve made the decision to adjust our opening hours over the next couple of days.

- HATCH at Smallford Farm Shop | St Albans Food Hall, Deli & Butchers will be closing the kitchen an hour earlier than usual at 2pm on Tuesday 23rd, Wednesday 24th and Thursday 25th. We’ll remain open for coffee and cakes until our usual closing time at 4pm.

- HATCH at Christopher Place will be closing the kitchen an hour earlier than usual on Tuesday 23rd. On Wednesday 24th and Thursday 25th our kitchen will be closing between 3pm - 5pm in order to give our chefs a bit of respite from the heat. We will also be operating with a reduced menu during the day time.

Dads and fans of Dads alike! If you’re thinking of taking your old man out for breakfast tomorrow there’s a couple of things you should probably know -

- HATCH at Christopher Place is fully booked with a very limited number of tables available for ‘walk-ins’. We will have our outside area set up and ready too, which will be working on a first come, first serve basis. Please pop in and speak to a member of our team if you’d like a table!

- HATCH at Smallford Farm Shop | St Albans Food Hall, Deli & Butchers does not take reservations and is available exclusively for ‘walk-ins’. This means you have a fairer shot of getting a table at Smallford Farm Hatch! It’s worth noting that we are not able to serve groups of more than six guests at Smallford Farm on Fathers Day.

Our staff will do their best to accommodate as many guests as possible. We appreciate your patience and can’t wait to see you (and your Dad 👨🏻‍🦳🎸👓)
