The new edition of Warhammer 40K arrives this Saturday!

For those who don't know Dark Fire Cafe opened officially on the launch day of 10th edition, so this launch is very special to us as it also marks a 3rd Birthday!

To celebrate in true DFC style we have a huge line up of 11th edition events on the horizon!

We've also updated all our tables to the new edition!

Every table now supports the new layouts with a bespoke themed terrain set made from a wide range of official Games Workshop terrain. We also have a rack of spare terrain to enhance your tables even more should you want a more narrative setup!

From our open day event where you can get into the game straight away, our ever popular one day RTT's to our weekly play nights with staff on hand to find you an opponent and offer advice we have everything you need to get to grips with 11th edition!

Huge thanks to all the wonderful artists who have so kindly contributed: (not pictured) and to for helping organise the raffle and sourcing these amazing prizes!

In Magic Presents: Pride, you’ll treat all eligible commanders as though they had the partner ability. Take your favourite legendary creatures (or qualifying planeswalkers) and build a deck with both at the helm. As a special treat, all participants will receive a ride-themed Gilded Lotus promo card with brand new art by Merlin G.G.

We’ve got something new for young hobbyists!

During term time we’ll have free to use painting stations setup every weekday from 3:30pm - 6pm

All your budding painter needs to bring is their current project, some paints and their paintbrush. We’ll have everything else!

Children will need to be supervised by a parent, but don’t worry we have plenty of yummy drinks on hand while you’re here!

Never tried mini painting before? We have test models available for new painters to try, and if you enjoy it our staff will be more that happy to advise on next steps.
