I am back after an amazing 10 days travelling around Türkiye. I am so very grateful to have a team that I can rely on when I go away. For a long time I had never been able to go away for longer than a week and when I worked alone I would have to shut up shop completely. Now I have the ability to actually have a break. As I’ve gotten older I’ve realised that as much as I love the business, I don’t want to let it consume me and I don’t want to miss out on living my life. It is so nice to be able to travel and see the world knowing that the team will be fine without me. Now to plan my next trip…

Ok, I caved. Dot cakes have arrived at Heaven is a Cupcake. We have been making cake pots for about 10 years along with school cake so it’s not an entirely new concept but obviously cannot take credit for the name. I’m not a massive fan of trends which is probably why we have 6000 followers and not 60,000 BUT I have to admit these are cute. So here we are! We have this box of “Dot” cakes available to collect today or tomorrow. Freshly made today and looking for a home for a reduced price of £21 as it’s a trial box. Oh and did I mention they come in fully compostable tubs from vegware - added bonus that they’re pretty too.

Megan appreciation post! Where do I start? We are very sad to say that our lovely Megan is moving on to pastures new. She has been at Heaven is a Cupcake for coming up to 5 years. She headed off on maternity leave and welcomed a new member of her family, the lovely Leo. Megan - we knew you would make a fantastic mum and are so happy for you! Megan started baking during lockdown & has absolutely thrived at HiaC. We will miss you Megan, you are a star ⭐️ Thanks for being part of the team. Megan👩🏼‍🍳
