We welcome everyone; families, couples, friends, dogs, cyclists, cycling groups, runners, joggers, dog walkers and anyone who likes a great cup of coffee and some awesome food...with a difference! Cycle racks and locks are available to lock up bikes if needed. We have seating outside for 30 people and 50 seated inside. Our coffee is roasted by local roaster Ninth Coffee, based in Saffron Walden. W

e also offer a range of teas and soft drinks. To go with your drink we serve cakes, pastries and have an extensive menu

We have a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere, and are known for our modern and buzzy vibe. We also have a sister company "Waffle+Co", which is a mobile catering company based in Saffron Walden. Available for private hire.

We tried chicken thighs. But after plenty of feedback (and a lot of chicken and waffles later!), we’ve gone back to the OG.

Our famous crispy chicken breast is officially back on every Chicken+Waffle, and we couldn’t be happier.

It’s been our best-selling dish for years, and once you’ve had it, it’s easy to see why.

Whether you’re loyal to The Original, obsessed with the Korean, or all about The Famous Signature, they’re all now served with our crispy chicken breast from Burtons Butchers
