We welcome everyone; families, couples, friends, dogs, cyclists, cycling groups, runners, joggers, dog walkers and anyone who likes a great cup of coffee and some awesome food...with a difference! Cycle racks and locks are available to lock up bikes if needed. We have seating outside for 30 people and 50 seated inside. Our coffee is roasted by local roaster Ninth Coffee, based in Saffron Walden. W

e also offer a range of teas and soft drinks. To go with your drink we serve cakes, pastries and have an extensive menu

We have a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere, and are known for our modern and buzzy vibe. We also have a sister company "Waffle+Co", which is a mobile catering company based in Saffron Walden. Available for private hire.

🍗 THE CHICKEN JUST GOT AN UPGRADE 🍗

We’ve been quietly working on something behind the scenes… and our crispy fried chicken is now better than ever.

We start with succulent chicken thighs from Burton’s Butchers, marinated overnight in a spiced buttermilk blend to keep them incredibly tender and juicy.

They’re then coated in our own secret recipe seasoned crumb and fried until perfectly golden and ridiculously crispy.

The result? More crunch. More flavour. More deliciousness.

Pair it with one of our waffles and choose your favourite:

Maple syrup, sriracha and whipped chive butter.

Sticky gochujang sauce and homemade Korean slaw.
