Alongside our usual menu tomorrow evening, we’ll be serving two rather delicious Fish Friday specials.

To start, garlic prawns on toasted bread — simple, generous and full of flavour.

For main, trout with braised Puy lentils, pancetta & sage mash and roasted tenderstem broccoli.

Two beautiful dishes we’re particularly fond of — available tomorrow evening alongside all your usual favourites. ✨

We’re pleased to have Old Sun Inn Dark Amber Ale from Roughacre Brewery on the bar.

This local ale comes with a brilliant cause behind it — every pint sold helps raise funds towards the restoration of Saffron Walden’s historic Grade I-listed Old Sun Inn.

Brewed locally in Clare, it’s a smooth, easy-drinking 4.0% dark amber ale made with barley and wheat malts and a blend of classic hops.

So when you order a pint, you’re not only supporting a local independent brewery, you’re helping preserve an important piece of local history too. ❤️
