Converted from Victorian buffet bars, ticket offices and waiting rooms, these station pubs offer beautifully restored interiors, real ales and a slice of railway history

From the same point on Debden Road Bridge, we now fast forward to early 2000's.
The buildings in the foreground have now been cleared for residential development and Saffron Court has now been built.
The only buildings that remain are the pub and the station.

Many pics hanging on the walls of the pub and station were lost in the refurbishment in 2014. We've recovered some, but sadly not all...

More Sunday nostalgia of the pub.
Again taken from Debden Road bridge around 1970. The pub can be seen in centre of pic with the station in the distance.
The track has now been lifted and there's some old buses in front of the coal shed
