We are extremely disappointed to read this review, particularly the very serious allegation made about one of our chefs.
We categorically deny that any member of our kitchen team was smoking or taking drugs while working, and we have absolutely no knowledge of the behaviour described in this review. This is not something we tolerate in our restaurant, and we take our responsibilities to our customers and staff extremely seriously.
The weekend in question was the Scooter Rally weekend, which was exceptionally busy for us. Our chefs were working extremely long shifts — in some cases around 15 hours a day throughout the weekend — and were understandably exhausted after an incredibly demanding few days.
We also have no booking under your name and, having checked our records, have no recollection of you ever dining with us. If you did not actually eat with us, it is completely unreasonable to leave a 1-star review, particularly when you have not even tried our food. Our overall rating and the overwhelming feedback from our customers speaks for itself: we pride ourselves on serving exceptional-quality food at reasonable prices.
We work incredibly hard to provide our customers with good food and a safe, professional environment, and we feel it is important to publicly clarify that we strongly dispute the allegations made in this review.
