WOW... what a week! 😅🔥

A massive thank you to everyone who has passed through our doors, ordered online or given us a ring over the last few days ❤️

You have certainly kept us on our toes...

Well, most of us anyway 👀🤣

I even managed to break one of mine after losing a fight with a particularly aggressive chair leg. Would not recommend. 0/10 experience 🦶💥😅

But here we are...

Well… this Bank Holiday has been slightly chaotic 😅🍟🔥

Despite getting extra Cod & Haddock in ready for the busy weekend… but it's been EVEN BUSIER than expected 👀👏

I attempted a heroic emergency trip to Bookers today… only to arrive and discover they’d shut earlier than advertised🙃😂

3rd and final post regarding this ! I'm on two hours sleep. The hate has been astounding. Recieving comments like "what's next are you going to let someone marry your 9 year old"

" she is Irish and the Muslims are ruining her country, fact"

This is not on !

I never intended to start a political or a religious debate.
To be clear yes, the chicken I use has always been halal. That wasn't the choice behind using it. it was quality, 100% chicken breast meat over mechanically reformed chicken.
All four suppliers that I use provide halal chicken. To be clear Bookers chicken is halal. I'm not throwing any other island business under the bus, I've caught enough hatred for all of us. I am definitely not the only island food establishment serving Halal chicken.

I'm open for being more transparent 100%, I have no issue with that whatsoever.
But I also need people to be transparent with themselves, every time you go out and eat locally or elsewhere, are you asking how your chicken is killed ?
Everyone is entitled to their opinions, that's fine but abusing me isn't the answer.

Please stop with the hate !
To be clear we will still be serving Pork Sausages, they will be Gluten free so better quality. We are trying Halal sausages to be inclusive and to give people a choice. We have separate fryers. I am trying to be fair to everyone.
Please stop trolling and calling me stupid !
