What a way to end a busy Sunday 🌅🍂

The sun setting behind the old station house, a car park still full of cars and the last of Sunday’s guests enjoying their evening with us.

There’s something rather special about The Knot at this time of year, especially when the sky puts on a show like this. 🧡

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us today for Sunday lunch, drinks or simply a little countryside escape. Same again next Sunday? 🍻

What a weekend! ❤️

We’ve been absolutely blown away by the feedback coming through over the last few days. From breakfast and date nights to a very busy Sunday lunch, it’s lovely to see so many 5s across food, service, atmosphere and value.

A few comments that made us smile…

⭐ “That was the best Sunday lunch I have ever had.”
⭐ “Love this pub, we come often.”
⭐ “A proper country pub experience.”
⭐ “We were blown away by the quality and tastiness of the food.”
⭐ “Was very busy. However food and service not compromised in the slightest.”

And Jo… we did have a little laugh at the Freddo comment. We can’t believe they remembered them! 😂🐸

A huge thank you to everyone who visited and took the time to leave us feedback, and an even bigger thank you to our team who kept everything running brilliantly through a very busy weekend. 💚

Same again next weekend then? 🍻🐾

How is everyone surviving the first few days back at school? 🎒✏️

The uniforms have been found, the packed lunches are back and we’re already running out of ideas for what to put in them… Luckily, it’s nearly Friday! 😂

If you’ve earned a little drink, we’re here for you. Our September drinks of the month are:

🍋 Gin: Malfy Con Limone
A clean, crisp and refreshing Italian gin made with sun-ripened lemons and Amalfi lemon peel.

🍷 W**e: Bellefontaine Cabernet Sauvignon
An unoaked, medium-bodied French red with ripe blackcurrant and wild berry flavours.

💙 Cocktail: Curaçao Cooler
Blue Curaçao, vodka, apple juice, elderflower syrup and lemon juice. Fresh, fruity and refreshing, with citrus notes and a subtle orange sweetness.

Which one are you choosing?

Well, it looks like autumn has officially arrived! 🍂🔥

A huge thank you to Eaves Chimney Specialists for coming out this morning. They were really efficient, did a brilliant job cleaning the chimney and cleaned up as they went. We would highly recommend them ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!

Now that the weather has turned, one of our favourite features is already making its return. The log fire in our snug is lit and roaring, making it the perfect spot for a cosy meal, a pint or an afternoon cuppa.

Who loves sitting beside our roaring fire? 🪵
