Today, amongst our amazing 👏 star 🌟 studded aray of edible delights, Café 16:15 is pleased to introduce, for the first time, our dairy/gluten free, spiced fruit cake 😋
Being a not very big fan of fruit cake myself, I still had to sample it, and it is good 👌

Good morning Rushden, and as you begin the journey into another Saturday, full of hope and promise, we @ Café 16:15 are looking forward to meeting as many of you as choose to make us your breakfast/lunch or coffee pilgrimage.
We have, of course, the best value, possibly the best all round, breakfast you will find along the High Street, with complimentary pastries. We have our slow cooked mains, our Mac 'n' Cheese 🧀, salads, sausage rolls and quiche. Plus our baked in store, dairy/gluten free chocolate 🍫 orange 🍊 cake and cinnamon and citrus cake.
We blend out own coffee ☕️ beans, to give you a unique flavour, and will happily make you a sandwich 🥪 to order.
Today as well we have added to our menu, with gluten free, tomato 🍅 and mozzarella, pesto pasta pots, ready to take away, as are our soups, Caribbean coleslaw, and other delights in our counter fridge. Plus 3 for a pound 💷 croissants.
And don't forget, we have a traffic free courtyard, outdoor covered seating, and regular customers, who are some of the most amazing people you will ever meet.

Welcome to a very promising looking Friday 👌 Yesterday was a busy day for the café, really good to catch up with regulars, and get back into the swing of things, following my 10 day grand tour across Europe.
Tomorrow is of course breakfast day, with us opening at 9:30, cooking, to order, the finest, greatest value, breakfast, you will find across the High Street, and we are also trailing Monday opening as well, just to see how it goes.
As for today, the cakes are cooling 😎, we have a chocolate 🍫 orange 🍊 and a citrus and cinnamon, as well as a plain chocolate 🍫, all of which are gluten and dairy free.
The quiches are cooking, as are the sausage rolls, maybe give one of our new chicken 🐔 ones a try? We do like an experiment 😁
We have our Jerk Chicken 🐔, sweet potato 🥔 curry and a chicken 🐔 balti, on the menu,as well as a fresh batch of Mac 'n' Cheese 🧀 and our choice of salads, plus more, so why not come and see for yourselves?
Today we are also launching our support for the Grace Foundation, family support charity, at Huxlow School. We have always been a supporter of other charities and foodbanks, but wanted to get behind a smaller, less supported team, who share our values, and who work directly to support families who are struggling to get by.
We do have a box 📦 in the @ Café 16:15 should you wish to pop any items in yourselves.

It would seem Rushden High Street has taken a holiday this week, and being slightly of the beaten track means we don't get the footfall, more visual cafe's do. So today, as we are so quiet, I will be staying closed and spending an extra summer break day with my family.
Tomorrow we have Spring - Social Prescribing in Wellingborough & East Northants popping in, as is their Thursday custom.
Apologies to anyone that was planning on coming in today, but I have to balance the cost to the charity of expenditure, bills etc, with potential income.

As a charity, that considers the service of others to be a privilege. We like to link up with, and support where possible, other like minded charities and charitable groups. So with that in mind, Café 16:15 will be supporting the Grace Foundation, based at the Huxlow Academy in Irthlingborough, supporting families going through hard times.
We will be collecting and donating food and other items, as well as promoting the Foundation through our Café and charity.
We have, over the last year, donated a large amount of food items to local foodbank's, and are looking forward to supporting this cause.

Don't forget Café 16:15 will be back open tomorrow morning for the best value breakfast the High Street has to offer, plus of course our own recipe sausage rolls, cakes and mains. All freshly prepared, freshly cooked and great for the wallet.
Plus look out for our pasta salad pots and other new additions coming soon to our menu.
We also recently did a cold buffet for a small party, so if that's something your looking for, why not pop in for a chat.
