We're here today during Rushden Railway's Family Fun Day.
Open now until 4pm

Family Fun Day opens at 11am (mini beer fest from 12pm) FREE ENTRY
In The Rushden Goods Shed we have a craft fair, Beat Route Radio, Chris's Animal Encounters, Emesska Face Painting Mabel Blades Men's Health talks and MHL Catering
Then over the road on the platform we have train ride for a donation, FREE hotdogs for kids in our Buffet Carriage, kids games & colouring tables. Mini Beer Fest will open at 12pm in the Rushden station social club and ale bar
Parking is available but limited in the Goods Shed, there is space up near denfield school in their entrance and there are car parks a few minutes away along Rectory Road

We are serving the following, Breakfast Wraps, Chicken Wraps, Hogroast Rolls, Fish & Chips, Fish Cakes, Scampi, Battered Sausages, Cheesy Chips, Burgers, Hotdogs, Breakfast Rolls, Breakfast Boxes, Chips, hot & cold drinks and more.

Our Spud unit is also open who needs the Spud Man, when we’ve got the Scorch Man’s Spuds

📅 2026 Kimbolton Festival – Key Entry Dates 📅

Here are the all-important entry dates for the 2026 Kimbolton Festival — which also counts as Round 6 of the HKRC Club Championship.

🏁 Entries open to existing HKRC members: 13th July
🏁 Member priority access for 10 days
🏁 Entries open to non-members: From 23rd July

It’s always a great event and defiantly one not to miss.

Friday will feature a full day of practice before we go racing across Saturday and Sunday, with three days of track action building up to an exciting weekend of competition.

Over the coming weeks we’ll be revealing more details about the event, including special prizes, announcements and everything else you need to know ahead of festival weekend.

We had a great day at Rushden Town Council’s Soapbox Derby, well done to Benji who finished 2nd in his Class, A big thank you to his sisters Beth & Ellie for pushing him down endless times today, also a big well done to everyone involved.
