Just a little update from me. We’ve been working hard behind the scenes getting everything ready, and it’s all starting to come together nicely.

There’ll be more news to share very soon, including our opening date, so keep an eye on the page for all the latest updates.

We can’t wait to welcome everyone through the doors for a proper pint, a friendly atmosphere, and to see the King Eddy back at the heart of the community where it belongs.

A Final Message from Horris

Well everyone, this will be my final post as part of The King Edward.

I just want to say a huge thank you to every single person who has supported me throughout my journey. I’ve met some amazing people, made some great memories, and I’ll always be grateful for the kindness and support you’ve shown me.

The King Edward will be reopening in around four weeks under new management. I genuinely hope you’ll give them the same warm welcome and support that you gave me. They deserve every chance to succeed.

Thank you once again to my staff, customers, friends, and everyone who walked through the doors and supported the pub during my time here. It has meant more than you know.

It is with great sadness that I have to announce that The King Edward has now closed.
I poured my heart and soul into this pub and gave it everything I had, but unfortunately it is no longer financially viable to continue.
I would like to say a huge thank you to every single person who supported me throughout this journey. Whether you came in for a drink, a meal, attended our events, or simply shared our posts, your support meant the world to me.
Although this chapter has come to an end, I will always be grateful for the memories, friendships, and community that we built together.
Thank you all, from the bottom of my heart.
