🍺 Good news: Old Peculier voted #23 in the UK’s Top 50 beers.

🍺 Bad news: apparently there are 22 beers ahead of us. 🤔 😉

We’ll be reviewing this matter carefully over a pint.

A massive thank you to everyone who voted us to #23 in the UK’s Best Beers 2026. Not a bad result for an ale that’s been doing things its own way for generations.

Due to the hot weather, there will be no Pie Night on Wednesday 1st July.

Instead, we'll be serving a selection of fresh salads and light bites – perfect for enjoying in the sunshine! 🥗☀️

Due to the exceptionally high temperatures our kitchen is reaching, we have made the decision to stop taking food orders at 7:30pm for the rest of this week.

We hope you understand that the wellbeing of our team must come first. This will help give our staff a much-needed break from the searing heat they are working in.
