Lunch menu 11.30am - 1.30pm. Welcome to Mosaic Coffee! A Bilton Evangelical Church Community Project

In 2007, the members of Bilton Evangelical Church started to develop a vision for a coffee shop in Bilton village, a place where the community could meet in a relaxed, welcoming, and secure environment and enjoy a great quality cup of coffee. The vision grew to include the coffee shop as a launch

pad for the church to run community based projects, providing the opportunity to understand and address the practical, emotional and spiritual needs within our community. Why call it Mosaic? A mosaic is a beautiful picture made up of tiny individual fragments each with their own unique character and beauty. We, in the village of Bilton and the surrounding area are all unique individuals, created by an amazing God. He wants us to love Him and love each other, and together create a beautiful mosaic picture, a picture of a whole and complete community, with nothing broken. As Christians we believe that without God we are a bunch of broken people in a broken world but with God we can be made whole again and have the promise of a fulfilled life. So Mosaic is our prayer for the community. We hope you enjoy Mosaic and the coffee and food that we serve. UPDATE ON MOSAIC

For the past 13 years, Bilton Evangelical Church has run Mosaic coffee shop, and provided a meeting place for the community, where good coffee, a warm welcome, good food and space for conversations was to be found.

Recently Mosaic has been closed, due to several circumstances, during which time we have been looking at ways to possibly re-open. Sadly we have had to take the difficult decision not to re-open the coffee shop.

THE FUTURE

It is, of course, sad when something we love comes to the end of its season. However, this is not the end for the Mosaic building. We are currently looking at how the facility could be used in the future for a community hub - so watch this space!

Thank you for your support over the years. Our hope and expectations are that the Mosaic facility will continue to be used in this community.

Our story...
Back in 2007, the members of Bilton Evangelical Church started to develop a vision for a coffee shop in the village.
The vision was a place where the community could meet in a relaxed, welcoming, and secure environment and enjoy a great quality cup of coffee. Mosaic Coffee Shop opened the following year and has been part of the village ever since. During our temporary closures over the past year our staff and volunteers really missed our community and are so happy to be back open again
