The Rugby Irish Association is delighted to introduce Gráinne Ward as our new Steward.
Gráinne joins us with a passion for bringing people together and supporting those around her. With family, friendship and community at the heart of everything she does, she is looking forward to becoming part of the Association and getting to know our members.

Before she settles into her new role, we wanted to give our members the chance to get to know Gráinne a little better. We grabbed a few minutes with her and asked some quick-fire questions about her background, her hopes for the future and what she's looking forward to most at the Rugby Irish Association.
Tell us a wee bit about yourself?
"Family and friends are very important to me, and I've always enjoyed roles where I can support people and bring them together. I'm excited to become part of the club and get to know its members."
What was it about the steward role that made you think, 'I'd love to do that'?
"I saw it as a great opportunity to get involved and be part of something positive. The club has a strong reputation, and I was excited by the chance to help support members and contribute to its future."
What would you like members to know about you as you start this role?
"I'd like members to know that although I'm new to the club, I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone. I'm approachable, open to ideas and always happy to have a chat."

What can members expect from you as Steward?
"Members can expect someone who will listen, be approachable and do their best to support the club and its community. I'm looking forward to learning from members and working alongside them."
What are you most looking forward to as Steward?
"Getting to know the members and becoming part of the club community. I'm looking forward to supporting events, meeting new people and helping wherever I can."
