How is it the last day of August already?

They do say time flies when you're having fun though! and we seem to have had a lot of that stuff this weekend!

A massive thank-you to everyone for all their support this weekend , on our first get together with Titanic Brewery, we're always a bit nervy when we go large for a Tap Takeover!

A big thanks to Darren from Titanic for coming down Thursday to answer your questions and for bringing some goodies! We will be returning the favour in the new year with a trip over to see them - (look out for our mini bus tours post in the coming months!)

A huge shout out to VISITATION for having us rocking on Saturday evening at their first gig at The Windmill, to our brilliant pals Duncan Arrow and Paula Claire for another fabulous Sunday chilled set and a huge welcome to Hasan Das winner of Rugby's Got Talent to our Windmill musical family.

We hope you've enjoyed this weekend as much as we have, we'll be here today finishing off the last couple of pints ready for some lovely new guest beers tomorrow if you fancy joining us.

We're having the perfect bank holiday weekend!

The raspberry pale has gone! And theres not a lot left of Gulp and Cherry Porter!

We have the brilliant Dunk and Paula here with a chilled sunday set, theyre being supported by Rugby's Got Talent winner Hasan! Starting at 6pm

It's exactly 2 years today since we took over The Windmill!

We just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone who has come in and visited us in those last two years, its the incredible locals, friends and staff that have made this a pub to be proud of.

We want to give a special shout out to our wonderful team who are like family to us, and make the harder days a lot more bearable with their humour! 💕

We also would like to thank our musicians who have been helping us raise money for charities this year. Our networking groups that keep the quiet nights ticking over, our 4 darts teams and dominoes team and our brilliant quiz host Tarka Blowpig Quizzes.🩷

A special shout out to the other ale pubs of Rugby, who with us, keep real ale alive in Rugby and make it a destination for real ale drinkers ❤️

And of course Black Country Ales for giving us a chance in the first place 🙂

We hope you'll join us later to raise a glass, our wonderful friends are putting on a bit or music too!

Diary at the ready?

This week is the start of our 2 weeks, of 2 year anniversary celebrations!

Me, Andy and The Team, have had 2 wonderful years of serving you lovely lot beer, so as a thank-you we're putting on events celebrating all things The Windmill - Great Beer, Great People, music, quizzes and tap takeovers.

There's something for everyone!

🎂Weds 19th AUG (our actual 2nd anniversary) our wonderful friends Lee & Dunk celebrate 2 years of us and them performing here with a live set from 8pm, supported by our musical, cleaning, bestie Simon Buckingham from 7ish.

📝Sun 23rd AUG -my bonus dad Jez as Tarka Blowpig Quizzes takes over the mic for our 2nd anniversary quiz! you've had two years to revise for this one! 4pm, tables available for reservation!

⚓Thurs 27th AUG -ALL WEEKEND - Our long standing friends Titanic Brewery are taking over the taps - on all weekend but starting Thursday with a Brewers Talk. Event post pending with weekend long events and times!

🎸Fri 4th SEPT - Your rock favourites SPITFIRE are back for Gaffer Andy's Birthday, 2 years at The Windmill & celebrating a wonderful friends life, all rolled into one.

🥉 THIRD PLACE! 🥉

We are chuffed to bits to let you all know that we have received 3rd place in CAMRA's County Pub of The Year Awards for Warwickshire!

As you all know me, Andy and the Team have been here less than 2 years, so to be in the top three, amongst some truly brilliant pubs and tap houses is incredible. A massive well done to the winners of the county awards and to all runners up.

A big thank-you to our team for their unwavering hard work, our locals, and all our supporters for backing our beautiful pub and slightly bonkers ideas😃

We'll be celebrating this alongside our 2nd Birthday celebrations, starting next week!

We're cramming in three different events celebrating all the fun, memories and achievements over the last 2 years! and letting you in on a sneak peak of what we have lined up for Winter!
