Lisa and I must say a massive thankyou to all the chefs, waiting staff, team seven stars. For giving their time for free to raise a magnificent £700 (approximately until the final cash count) for Breast Cancer Now with our afternoon tea today. Same again next year. Also a huge thankyou who came along to support this worthy charity. And remember men can get breast cancer too. So let's eradicate this disease once and for all.

🐯THE TIGERS FUN BUS IS BACK!🏉

And we are celebrating 10 years of us going 'Well, now we are in Rugby, how are we going to get to Leicester Tigers. I know, we'll run a coach!' If we run it, they will come... and you have. It's been a bit of a struggle sometimes, but in the good times, we have made some amazing donations to charity so please, please carry on supporting the fun bus so the good times can continue!!

First up, there is a price increase this year as understandably Catteralls have seen their costs increase, both diesel and employment costs so a door to door journey is now £17 per person (still cheaper than the train and let's be honest, no one's going to miss waiting 30 minutes at Nuneaton Station 😂😂)

And we have a special coach to start the season off on Sunday 27 September as it's a double header with the match vs Saracens kicking off at 3 pm, followed by the 745 game, raising funds for MND awareness at 5.30 pm so we are stopping late to watch that too! So, the coach will leave here at 1 pm and return at the later time of 8 pm. Graham & I are picking up the extra cost for the driver's hours so, hopefully, you will all support it as any money over the normal coach hire cost will be donated to this very worthy cause.

Coaches are also booked for:

🏉Friday 9 October vs Gloucester
🏉Saturday 24 October for the big derby match (yes, it's a double decker again)
🏉Saturday 12 December vs Clermont
🏉Saturday 19 December, Christmas Jumper match vs Sale Sharks
🏉Saturday 2 January vs Exeter Chiefs

🫖AFTERNOON TEA🍰

Our fund raiser for Breast Cancer Now is this Sunday 30 August from 1 pm.

Treat yourself to an indulgent homemade 3 tier afternoon tea with unlimited tea or coffee for a minimum donation of £20 per person.

We have Graham, Lisa and three other chefs giving their time for free to create a fabulous tea for you.

🌸Savouries & Mini Sandwiches
🌸Selection of bite sized cakes
🌸Fruit scone with clotted cream, jam & fresh strawberries

Both a meat eaters and a veggie version (sorry, no vegan option due to the butter & eggs used for the cakes).

If you don't fancy the full works, then just have a cuppa & a slice of cake for £6.

And new for this year, your doggie friends don't have to miss out with pup cakes & puppuccinos on offer!

We really want to beat our fund raising total of £800 from last year so please pop along & support us. The photos are a reminder of last year's fun!

Many of you know our pub mascots, Jack & Daniel, aka Chaos & Mayhem, our 2 year old fox red labradors, who do their best to promote our very dog friendly pub 🐕🦴🐶

Well, having spotted John Jenkins Photography on Facebook, we took the boys for a photo shoot. John has a studio in Lutterworth so nice & easy to get to, plenty of parking nearby and handily next door to the Real Ale Classroom!! 🍻🍻 They were the best behaved boys and John really put us at ease. He knows all the tricks to get the boys to pose and look at the camera.

And look at the results! John managed absolutely to capture the different personalities. Guess which one's the diva & which one is more laid back!! 😂😂

So if you are looking to get your pets immortalised or want a family photo shoot, we can definitely recommend John!

To see Graham in his Lederhosen!!!

Yes, after a fun summer of bratwurst, schnitzel & frankfurters, this weekend is the last chance to try our German Street Food.

Served with traditional sides and sauces plus vegan options, this food is very tasty and perfect with a German b**r or drink, followed by the classic digestif, Underberg!

Today from 5 pm until 9 pm, then Saturday 5 pm - 9 pm.

So pop in and sample it one last time - we want to sell out!!! Otherwise Graham will insist on wearing his Lederhosen until he's eaten the last brattie! 😂😂
