😮SCOTCH EGGS LEFT ON A SUNDAY!!! 😮

Yes, it almost unheard of but we have some scotch eggs left!!! This must be sign that you need to pop to the pub today for a pint & an egg 🍺😋

Plus Graham's just made a new batch of beef jerky, not tried it yet, well, it pairs perfectly with the ever popular Titanic Plum Porter. Another reason to visit.

Oh and we are open from 12.30 pm today so you can all grab a pint before the Pau vs Tigers match kicks off at 1 pm 🏉🐯🍻 followed by Toulouse vs Exeter at 3.15 pm and finally Saints vs Cardiff at 5.30 pm.

A day of rugby, b**rs, scotch eggs and beef jerky!! Sounds pretty much perfect 🍻🍻

As always the back bar will be sport free if you just want a pint or two.

IT'S ANOTHER RUGBY WEEKEND! 😁🏉🍺

The Investec Champions Cup returns this evening with plenty of English teams facing the best of Europe & South Africa. First up tonight Gloucester face a tough match vs Bordeaux. Four back to back matches on Saturday with Sale, Bristol, Saracens & Bath in action.

Then a Super Sunday with Leicester Tigers first up at 1 pm away at Pau, then Northampton Saints home against Cardiff and finally Exeter Chiefs face Top 14 champions, Toulouse.

And bonus drinking time! We'll be open from 12.30 pm on Sunday to make sure you have plenty of time to get your pint before kick off.

As always our back bar remains TV and sport free.

You may have noticed a little disruption in supply for your favourite b**r over the last couple of weeks and this is why! We've had work completed in our cask and keg cellars so now all our kegs and craft b**rs are dispensed from one cellar. And our lovingly, nurtured cask ales are now all on a vertical dispense system, which is a win win for both our staff and our customers. Much less manual handling, lifting and shifting for our staff and super fresh cask ale served to you.

We love looking after your b**r as much as you love drinking it!
