Dun Cow Family restaurant with a friendly atmosphere, who thrives from great service & amazing food! Welcome to The Dun Cow, a country pub with a fascinating history.

Named after the legendary Dun Cow, a "monstrous beast four yards high and six yards long" that once roamed the area, this pub is steeped in local folklore. According to the tale, the Dun Cow provided milk to the locals until it was defeated by Guy, Earl of Warwick. In addition to this intriguing myth, The Dun Cow also has ties to the Gunpowder Plotters of 1605, who once stayed in Dunchurch. At The Dun Cow, guests can enjoy a menu filled with hearty favourites and country pub classics. With seasonal dishes that are sure to delight your taste buds, there is something for everyone. To complement your meal, the well-stocked bar offers a selection of cask ales, fine wines and British gin. Whether you choose to dine in the beautiful gardens or cosy up by the crackling log fires, The Dun Cow guarantees a memorable experience. Our country pub also has a charming Innkeeper's Collection hotel next door if you fancy making your stay a little longer.
