This weekend we need your help Royston 🙏🏻

We are running a raffle to help our lovely customer Gemma.

Gemma is the loveliest person, always with a big smile on her face, and she’s been bravely fighting breast cancer for nearly 2 years.

Gemma’s friends and family are currently raising funds for specialist treatment abroad, in the hope of giving her access to further treatment options and more precious time with her little ones and the people she loves.

So this weekend, for just £1, you can buy a raffle ticket for the chance to win;

🌸 A heart cake worth £85
🌸 A brownie stack worth £50
🌸 A sandwich of your choice
🌸 A £10 voucher for the shop

All you have to do is pop into the Royston or Bassingbourn shop to enter. Winners will be drawn on Sunday after we close.

Introducing Kelly’s Little Kitchen 🥰🩷🧑🏻‍🍳👩🏻‍🍳

Watching your little ones grow is so special to us 🥹. We are approaching 4 years of our little shop and over the years we’ve congratulated you on your pregnancies, helped you out with cravings 😉 and now get to see your children play our ‘find the cupcake’ game, play cars on the floor, bring in their favourite teddies, play with our Baker Barbie (who now has a sister!), meet our princesses and superhero’s when they come in and make the leap from coming into the shop in a buggy to finding their feet 🥹🥰

So we wanted to give them something else to play with when they come in with you guys, and of course it had to be a kitchen 😉

Use the ingredients to make Kelly’s Victoria Sponge and don’t forget to add sprinkles! Recipe card and little aprons coming soon, it’s been a bit of a manic week 🐝

We are OPEN today in both locations, Royston 9-2 and Bassingbourn 9-12

Serving sandwiches in Royston from 11.30am, The Honest One will be back too, we just need to go and get some more cheese from The Honest Fig as you guys wiped us out yesterday!

We also have lots of freshly baked treats, including Pasteis de Nata, Cookies and Cinnamon Rolls just out of the oven 🥰

To be fair though I’m thinking the sugar might bring out the Biscoff flavour even more… maybe? 😬🙏🏻

Also SORRY for no cupcakes and Old School Sponge tomorrow guys, Mum life had to come first today but they will be back on Saturday 🫶🏻

Huge thank you to ENVY PARTY PLANNERS 🪩 for the incredible backdrop! They are so talented it’s amazing and so sparkly 🤩

We have lots of freshly baked treats including Cinnamon Rolls and Natas just out of the oven and David’s bread too freshly baked and ready to serve sandwiches from 11am. Plus we have some Rapunzel themed cupcakes too.

A little while back we made some of our Pasteis de Nata for family and friends, so it was the perfect time for our son to learn the recipe from his Dad 🥹🥰

Working with David they made the pastry together, the filling, worked the pastry into our moulds, baked them and of course, had to do a taste test!

Our boy is such a foodie already, you guys probably know that based on the sandwich that’s named after him on our menu. It’s a sandwich that he created himself and one that he always used to make if he wanted a treat. It’s so lovely when you guys ask for it as it always makes me smile to think of him in the kitchen filling up the sandwich with layer after layer, but quickly as he wanted to eat it 😂

I always hoped the kids would be interested in learning the ropes as they got older, we’ve made a promise to ourselves to never push them into it though, it’s our passion but that doesn’t mean it’s automatically going to be theirs. But I do have my fingers crossed that it might be 🥲

We are OPEN today AND tomorrow! Lots of freshly baked treats available, including Natas, Cookies, Cinnamon Rolls and a limited number of sandwiches up until 11.30 (shop open 10-2)
