NCT Royston and Villages Welcome to the page for NCT Royston. Come and join us for Baby Cafe on Friday Mornings No need to book - just turn up. All are welcome.

Baby Cafe meets on a Friday, usually at the Old Bull Inn between 10.00 and 12.00. Email the team at [email protected] for further information or to join our mailing list. There's no charge for this group but we ask people to make a donation (£1 or what you can afford) for teas, coffees and biscuits. We also offer a range of other activities for parents of babies and young children, and parents-

Thank you for everyone's understanding at Baby Café today, and for relocating to the ballroom in this very warm weather.

One of our volunteers became unwell during the session and needed assistance. We understand this may have been distressing for some people, so we would like to reassure you that she is doing much better now and is recovering at home.

A big thank you to Jax and Ayshe for everything they did to help today.

Please remember to look after yourselves and each other in this heatwave.

Walk and Talks are BACK!

Join Katie on Wednesday 8th of June at 10am for a walk at RSPB Fowlmere.

We recommend this to be a sling only walk as the ground is not always suitable for buggys, however in the summer the ground is usually firm, so dig out those walking shoes and join us for some fresh air.

This is a free event, but booking online allows us to know who is coming, and enables us to contact you if the walk needs to be rearranged for any reason.

With the recent warm weather, please make sure you take all recommend precautions for you and baby.

If you are using a carrier, please make sure you are following the UK Sling Consortiums checklist for safe baby wearing:

💚 Keep chin off chest
💚 Supported back

The current heatwave is a bit more than just hot weather! These tips might help keep you a bit cooler if you need to take your little one out today, but if you can it's probably best to stay inside for the hotest part of the day and maybe head out for an evening stroll instead!

Whether you've a bump or a baby, everyone is welcome. We love to meet partners too, so bring them along if they're free!

Hot and cold drinks available, with biscuits too 🍪

No need to book, just turn up.

This week we have:
Jax for breast / chest / bottle feeding support
Becca for twin and cloth nappy support
Ayshe for feeding and emotional support

☀️Please be mindful of the hot weather forecast☀️
Wear light, loose clothing, apply sun cream regularly, wear a wide brimmed hat, and stay hydrated.

Parking is available nearby. Market Place, Angel Pavement, The Warren, and the Civic Centre car parks are all walking distance.
