We at Rowley & Blackheath Labour Club were saddened to hear Adam Black has been diagnosed with Bells Palsy which means his singing career is now on hold for the foreseeable future. Adam has always been first to throw his name into the ring when Charity Events need a singer to help raise money, so I’m calling on fellow Artists/ vocalists to throw their name into the ring and help put on a Benefit Evening with a little help from his friends on Thursday 13th August 2026. Tickets will be £5 each so if you’re free that evening and are interested adding your name to a list of artists needed for the night, please leave your name and number and let’s show Adam a night with a little help from your friends. Acts that have already asked to perform are:

Thank you to all the acts who volunteered to perform on this benefit evening. All the confirmed acts will be contacted over coming weeks once tickets are printed so we can put show together and see who is using their own equipment or don’t mind going through someone else’s.
