BLIMEY 🤣

one minute I'm drinking a glass of wine and meal planning Bakewell tart for breakfast, dinner and tea and the next thing I know we have a queue to the door!!

Thank you to everyone who piled down to clear our shelves and thanks to everyone who wished us a nice time off. We most certainly plan on it and we'll see you again on the 17th.

Right guys, we need your help!

We have one hour before finishing up for two weeks. I do not want to spend the fortnight eating Bakewell tart and sausage rolls 🤣🤣

We can't even enlist the help of the The Tavern - Rowlands Gill guys as they have a private event on tonight.

So you have an hour to get yourselves down here for half priced baked goods. ’Saturday night/Sunday morning you’ will love 'Saturday 5-6pm you' 😉😂

We have plenty of GF/vegan options as well as berries cheesecake and sausage rolls.

I'm super excited to finally let you guys know about this 🥰

We have teamed up with the fabulous for a father's day event on Sunday 21st June.

Leo will guide you through the traditional craft of whittling to produce a wooden spoon, after which you can refuel with a ploughman's lunch inspired afternoon tea and beer or soft drink.
With a bit of luck the weather may allow us to take the craft outside into the garden but failing that it will be held inside our cosy coffee shop.
The whittling will take place between 10.30am - 2.30pm and afternoon tea will be served straight after.

We are calling this a father's day event but that significant person in your life who you wish to spend the day with may be your uncle, grandfather, big brother, mum who has done the job of both mum and dad... We don't mind, it's your day ❤️

Please note, the minimum age for this event is 16.

As always we only have a limited number of spaces so if you are interested, please reserve a spot ASAP. To book, please email us on [email protected] or drop us a message on Instagram or Facebook. A 50% deposit will be required on booking and the remainder will be due a week before the event.

After a hot couple of days we're closing in an hour until Wednesday 08:00 - we have some sausage rolls, corned beef pie, cheesecake and scones left - half price to take out until 18:00 😁

Just to let you know we are ready for a well earned rest and will be closed for two weeks!!

We will be closed for the first two weeks of June, reopening on Wednesday 17th June.

We will pop a sign up in the window to remind everyone too 😂

You may well still see us during that time popping in and doing some bits and bobs in the shop but we'll definitely try to get some downtime during that fortnight too!!

This was the situation at 5.59pm.

I took a photo of our single surviving slice of cake. 30 seconds later someone came in and bought it.

This means that by 6pm we had COMPLETELY sold out. Thank you so much to everyone who called in today, you are all amazing.

We are exhausted 😅

Eurovision and a bottle of wine may or may not be on the cards tonight... 😏
