We often get asked why we do so much charity work.

The truth is, we never set out looking for praise or recognition. The only reason we joined social media was to share some of the charity work we’d been doing, in the hope that it might inspire others to help where they could.

Fast forward to today, and somehow this amazing community has grown to over 51,000 followers since we started in November. That isn’t because of us—it’s because kindness brings people together.

We don’t do what we do for praise, likes or recognition. We do it because there are people out there who are struggling, people who are lonely, families who need a helping hand, and communities that become stronger when we look after one another.

We’re just an ordinary village cafe and bakery trying to do our little bit. If we’re fortunate enough to have a roof over our heads, food on our tables, and people who care about us, then sharing a little of that with others feels like the right thing to do.

Kindness doesn’t have to be a grand gesture. Sometimes it’s as simple as checking in on someone, buying a coffee for a stranger, donating what you can, or simply offering a smile.

If every one of us did one small act of kindness each day, imagine the difference we could make together.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for supporting not only our cafe but also the charity work we are so passionate about. Every like, share, follow and kind word helps us continue making a difference.

Kindness costs nothing, but it can mean everything. ❤️

Just so everybody knows the Pub will be closed at 10 pm for the football all of you that have booked tables please make sure that you’re in anybody trying to get in after 10 o’clock you will not be allowed entry

As many of you would have seen or heard, we have made the difficult decision to hand in our notice on the pub. This was not an easy decision to make, and it certainly wasn't one we took lightly.
We've poured our hearts into this pub and have made so many wonderful memories with our loyal locals and everyone who has walked through our doors. We are incredibly grateful for the support, friendships, and community we've built over our time here.
While this marks the beginning of a new chapter, we're not saying goodbye just yet. It's business as usual, and we're looking forward to continuing to welcome you all while we navigate this transition.
Thank you to everyone who has supported us along the way. Your kindness and loyalty have meant more than you'll ever know. We'll keep you updated as things progress, and we hope to see you in the pub soon for a drink, a meal, and a chat.

Just had a visit from the local authority for our hygiene check Of course we got a five star rating, just so you know 😁😁😁
