The Fire Station Pizzeria in Rothley is a popular local venue serving freshly made pizzas with a variety of toppings in a relaxed and welcoming setting.

What we had:
๐Ÿฝ Nduja and honey
๐Ÿ“ The Fire Station Pizzeria

If thereโ€™s one pizza to order, make it the Nduja and Honey. Arriving via the restaurantโ€™s signature lift and stretching right across the plate, it certainly makes an entrance. The hand-stretched base had that perfect Neapolitan-style texture, light, airy and chewy with just the right amount of char around the crust. Topped with a rich Strianese tomato base, creamy Fior di Latte mozzarella, spicy Cobble Lane Cured nduja, roasted peppers and a generous scattering of parmesan. Every bite delivered serious flavour. The homemade chilli-infused honey tied it all together, adding a sweet heat that balanced the smoky spice of the nduja beautifully.

These guys' commitment to fresh, locally sourced ingredients shines throughout the menu, from flavour-packed pizzas to small plates designed for sharing. Pair that with a thoughtfully curated selection of wines, craft beers and cocktails, and itโ€™s easy to see why this Rothley spot has become such a favourite. We had a Moretti to go with the meal. One thingโ€™s for sure, this is a pizza that disappears far quicker than it arrives.

We'll be back again for the small plates and pasta and our eyes are set on the tiramisu.

Oi! Get your own drinks.

Itโ€™s 2-for-1 tomorrow. Or as we like to call it, Thirsty Thursdays. With any Spritz of your choice, itโ€™s as if youโ€™re transported to the valleys of Tuscany themselves.

Ah, perfetto! Just how we like it.
