After an over 20 year sabbatical The Taverna Open made it’s return the Rothesay’s golfing calendar.

Over 60 players took to the course for a
sh***un start in somewhat wild conditions with “De Chambeau” Donnie McDermid coming out on top with an excellent gross 74 for a nett 69 with his putter on absolute fire, to pip “the bridesmaid “ Iain McDonald, by virtue of the better inward half, with the 18th hole quadruple bogey ultimately being Iain’s undoing as he waits for his first ever singles win.

Well done Donnie 👍🏻
