Well folks, another season has passed & we're now closed for the winter.

We can't believe SEVEN seasons have passed so quickly - SEVEN!

The locals visiting our restaurant this season = 55

2019/2020/2021 = no stats recorded
2022=19
2023=24
2024=45
2025=55

And yes - I do have a register with names written down!

I know who my locals are!

Thank you to all the wonderful diners who visited us this season & look forward to seeing you in 2026 for our 8th season.

God willing we're still here... you know... state of the world & all that!

Thank you Darek for visiting the Isle of Bute & producing a fantastic video covering The Waterfront & St Ebba (we know the wonderful owners).

Darek worked hard translating his video with English subtitles which would've been quite a long task!

Darek apologies we didn't get to talk to you more on your visit, but as you witnessed, the restaurant became busy very quickly!

This course is free for anyone who's interested in learning & spotting the signs of Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE).

CSE is happening across the U.K & this awareness course (30 minutes - 1 hour) will help parents be vigilant & protect their children.

Dear all

2025 is already whizzing by!

It only felt like yesterday it was Christmas!🎅🎄

Many of you know we open EARLY SUMMER (late May) and look forward to seeing you for our 7th season.

Our menu & opening hours will be posted nearer the time.

Oh... and to that local idiot who said last season "It's that stupid Polish restaurant" in front of Pawel whilst passing by.... go f**k yourself.

You can say "it's that stupid restaurant"

NOT

"It's that stupid Polish restaurant"

Any idiotic racist comment needs to be called out.

Since living here, this is the 3rd time derogatory comments have been made about Pawel being Polish.

Well folks, we are now closed for the winter.

We can't believe SIX seasons have passed so quickly - SIX!

It was wonderful seeing more locals visit our restaurant this season (45 in total - up from 24 last year).

Thank you to all the wonderful diners near & far & look forward to seeing you in 2025 for our 7th season.... God willing we're still here... you know... state of the world & all that!

I'll now be more focused teaching criminology & parts of criminal law to teenagers 14-16 remotely until we re-open in EARLY SUMMER 2025.

The Waterfront Rothesay will be reopening for our 6th season in late May 2024.

Our opening hours & menu will be posted closer to the time.

Please be reminded that:

1. We are known as the establishment that DOES NOT served deep fried foods i.e. fish & chips!

2. Our alcohol / premises licence DOES NOT permit children under 7 years of age.

Only one or two people will get this.... you know who you are 😆😆

The Waterfront will be re-opening on Friday 26th May (1 week later than scheduled).

We'll be posting our menu and opening hours closer to the time of re-opening.

Please refrain from making any booking until our menu and opening times have been published.

A gentle reminder:

It only seems like yesterday we closed for the winter back in October 2022! ☃️☃️

The Waterfront will be reopening in May 2023 😊

We'll be posting our new menu and opening hours closer to the time of reopening.
