💙 Fundraising Update: Thank You for Your Support 💙

A huge thank you to everyone who has donated so far, as well as those who have contributed through our collection at the café. Thanks to your generosity, we have now raised £400 towards our memorial bench for Nev Smith.

This bench will provide a special place around Manvers Lake where visitors can sit, reflect, relax, and enjoy the beautiful views that Nev loved so much. It will be a lasting tribute, allowing family, friends, and the wider community to remember Nev while enjoying the lake he was so passionate about.

Following the many kind messages and offers of support we've received, we have now set up a JustGiving page for anyone wishing to contribute towards a memorial bench and plaque in memory of Nev.

Nev was a much-loved member of our lake community, and we hope to create a lasting tribute in a place that meant so much to him.

For those unable to visit the Café, the JustGiving page makes donating as easy as possible. Donations can still be made at the Café collection point, and every contribution, no matter how small, will help us create a fitting memorial for a truly special gentleman.

It is with great sadness that we remember Nev, a true gentleman and familiar face at the lake. He was always kind, welcoming, and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

In his memory, we are raising funds for a memorial bench and plaque to be placed at the lake — a peaceful place he loved, where people can sit and reflect.

Any contribution, no matter how small, would be greatly appreciated. All donations will go towards creating a lasting tribute to a much-loved man who touched many lives.

Donations can be made at the Café, where a collection point will be available for anyone who would like to contribute.
