By popular demand, our delicious artisan 𝐄𝐜𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐜𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬 are officially back on the counter!

These delicious, traditional artisan cakes are packed with juicy raisins, brown sugar and a rich, buttery filling, all wrapped up in perfectly crisp, light and flaky pastry. 🥧✨

They pairs beautifully with a hot cup of coffee or a freshly brewed pot of tea. Come grab yours today before they sell out again!

From time to time, we want to share fascinating stories with you from all corners of the world that connect to what we do best here at 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝘂𝗯 𝗖𝗮𝗳𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝘀𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗻. To kick things off, let’s start with a mind-blowing story about a drink you definitely know, but whose origins might shock you: 𝗙𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮! 🥤👇

🇩🇪 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗙𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮 🇩🇪

Did you know that Fanta was actually born out of strict necessity during World War II?

Back in 1940, Coca-Cola’s German branch was completely cut off from the secret US syrup supply due to wartime trade embargoes. Refusing to let the business collapse, the local manager decided to create a brand-new drink using whatever leftover ingredients he could get his hands on.

The original wartime Fanta looked and tasted nothing like the bright orange soda we know today. It was a brownish drink resourcefully mixed together from food industry scraps: beet sugar, apple pomace (leftover scraps from cider presses) and whey (a byproduct of cheese making)!

Where did the name come from? The team was told to let their imagination ("Fantasie" in German) run wild and Fanta was born! It became an instant hit, used not just as a refreshment but even by clever housewives for baking due to strict sugar rationing.

While that original recipe was discontinued after the war, Coca-Cola revived the brand in 1955 with a delicious, completely new orange recipe bought from an Italian company.

🐶🐾Fun Dog Show Day🐾🐶

We are ready for the Dog Show. Come to the meadow to join us for an exciting day with doggies and friends. Refreshments, sandwiches, home made scones, Bavarian salty pretzels and snacks are availab on site while hot food, coffee and ice cream are served in the Cafe as usual. See you all soon.

🐾 Exciting news for tomorrow's Fun Dog Show! 🐶

We are ready for a fantastic day at the Rosliston Forestry Centre! To help you get your Sunday morning started, 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝘂𝗯 𝗖𝗮𝗳𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝘀𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗻 will be opening earlier at 9:30 AM.

Whether you need that first-morning coffee or a treat for your pup, we’ve got you covered.

🍦 Bringing the cafe to you: As long as the weather holds up nicely during the main event hours, we will also be setting up our outdoor point right by the meadow where the Show is happening! You'll be able to grab refreshments and quick bites without missing a single wagging tail.

Make sure to visit us at the cafe or look out for our stall on the meadow during your stay at the Fun Dog Show.

Our friends at the Rosliston Forestry Centre are hosting a fantastic Fun Dog Show this Sunday, 7th June from 10:00 am onwards!

The weather is looking cool and dry, perfect for a day out with your four-legged besties. While you are enjoying the agility displays, travelling farm and dog show classes, make sure to pop into The Hub Cafe Rosliston! We are right here on-site to keep you fueled with delicious treats, hot drinks and refreshments all day long. ☕🍰🐶
