A huge thank you to everyone who made this bank holiday weekend so special!

On Sunday we welcomed More Than Human back to play for us for the second time, absolutely brilliant band and an amazing night once again.

Then on Monday, thank you to everybody who came out, enjoyed the fine weather in our garden, and supported a full day of live music. We were lucky enough to have performances from Aiden Pryor, Steph Ashcroft, Rich Bailey, Zac Schulze, Matt Finish, and Gavin Matthews, along with special guest appearances from Jesse Garwood, Jack Austin, Despy Wilson, Beatty Cameron Crampton, Peter Clark, Vern Hampton, Tony Wilkinson and Lee Hunt.

And once again, I find myself in awe of all of our team here at Rising Sun who worked so hard in that heat Grace, Sophia and Shan you guys are amazing ❤️

Special mention to our hardcore regulars who take it upon themselves to collect glasses and help keep days like this flowing, Linda, Tracy and Katrina your absolute stars 🌟

Maybe we should do it all again one day!

Bank Holiday Monday loading! 🚨

We’re thrilled to announce our Monday lineup! Alongside some very special guests, we’ll be welcoming debut appearances at the Rising Sun from Aidan Pryor and Steph Ashcroft of the award winning Whiskey Flowers. Joining them will be Rich Bailey and Gavin Matthews from Bad Pennies, making up the rhythm section for this one off “Bad Flowers” special!

From around 3PM, Zac Schulze will be gracing our stage alongside Matt Finish and Rich, bringing you a mix of current favourites and a few classics you all know and love.

There’s gigs…and then there’s gigs.

This afternoon was one of those shows that really hit home for us.

We started this band playing in pubs and bars across our hometown… to play in front of thousands of people at one the biggest blues festivals in the Netherlands is the stuff dreams are made of.

It was an honour to return to this festival and to be able to play the main stage.

We will never take any of this for granted. Thank you all.❤️

Driving to gent Belgium as we speak where we will eat steak and drink a Guinness tonight.

Back in Medway tomorrow, looking forward to playing down the rising sun in the afternoon.
