Thank you all for your kind thoughts and wishes, presents, flowers and money to buy ourselves a couple of bottles of wine later! I won't lie, I'm sad to be leaving Oliver's cafe, it's been my baby. You haven't seen the last of me though, I'll be around - annoying people like I do! Lots of love from Len and I xx

This is so true!

saw this on a local page earlier and HOW true is this!

We’ve had some teething issues these past couple of weeks as you can imagine..
Opening new premises which are 10x bigger than my previous ones and also offering ridiculous amounts more than my last place, whilst trying to grieve my Grandad who passed away 48hrs before opening has been bloody tough.

We are sorry if your order has been wrong, if you’ve had to wait a little longer than you do in Costa or another business but we are learning and trying to navigate a way of the new part of business.

Everything is made Fresh! Bakes every day and all of the hot food, drinks & milkshakes are MADE TO ORDER.
So the wait will be a little while as it’s not microwaved or reheated like McDonalds or Spoons etc..

We’ve recieved insane feedback from 98% of people which I am insanely thankful for but of course we always expect some criticism or feedback should we say, but please know we are learning from that and will only come back bigger & better.

Well folks, this is the news! We have sold our lovely cafe, and we leave on Saturday 30th of November. The new owner, Kate, will re-open the cafe as Kate's Kitchen, once the refurb is completed..

We would like to thank all our wonderful customers, who have supported us for nearly 7 years!. We have loved every minute of it and we leave with good friends made. Apart from COVID, we have been a busy hub, with lots going on in the past.

We got a civic recognition award from the Mayor of Rochdale for providing hot food to children during COVID, for doing shopping for older customers who couldn't get out themselves and for supporting the soup kitchen, with Christmas gifts and food. Which we did for the last 3 years. We won't mention the beast from the east, the same week that we opened! Nightmare!

Len went out on Christmas day, dressed as Santa, delivering Christmas dinners with presents for the children.

We've had a great journey in the last (almost) 7 years. We've made friends for life, some we will see regularly going forward.

And there's a few that we'd rather not see again!

We are at Oliver's cafe until this coming Saturday, it would be great if you want to pop in and say goodbye. After that, we are going to RETIRE - YIPPEE 😁😃😁 TTFN. X
