It's only a few short days now 'till we lager up the ale pumps & get our Oktoberfest on & here's the beer list!
CASK:
Blackjack- Squalor 5%
A take on a Schwarzbier, Squalor is a dark lager with roasted coffee & chocolate notes, accompanied by a crisp finish.
Durty- Narnia 4.6%
A modern interpretation of the classic Hefeweissen style brewed with German hops & Bavarian yeast.
Neptune- Festbier 6.0%
Festbier is a golden, medium-bodied lager. It offers light malt aromas with hints of bread, biscuit, and subtle floral hops.
Wakey Wakey x Trail- Schlafwandler 5.0%
A malt-forward Kellerbier built on Barke Pilsner and Munich malt, bringing fresh bread, honey and lightly toasted malt character.
Neptune- Hefeweizen 5.5%
A traditional German Wheat beer with flavours of banana & clove, alongside sweet malt notes. A refreshing and slightly tart easy drinking beer.
Redwillow x Runaway- Mash Hopped Lager 4.8%
An English lager made with German Hallertau Blanc & Perle hops created for Chorlton Beer Festival.
Coley's x Wakey Wakey- Le Dale Rustique 3.4%
Not an Oktoberfest beer, but absolutely something interesting & exciting! This is a fruited grisette- a wild fermented Belgian style with the addition of blackberries. Slightly tart but with a hop forward character coupled with sweetness from the fruit.
KEG:
Paulaner Weissbier 5.5%
One of the headline breweries at Oktoberfest annually & now a permanent line on our bar, this is a classic weissbier in every aspect, naturally hazy & hitting notes of banana & clove.
Hacker Pschorr Oktoberfest 5.8%
Another of the 6 permitted breweries at Oktoberfest, their Oktoberfest brew is a Märzen style lager- stronger & with a slightly darker malt profile than their standard lagers.
Paulaner Oktoberfestbier 6.0%
A delicate balance of light hops and a strong note of malt & almond; clean & easy drinking despite being a little stronger.
We've also got a selection of bottles in the fridge from Ayinger & Flensburger if you fancy one for the road!
