The council's cabinet member for adult care, Councillor Shah Wazir, and his assistant, Councillor Linda Robinson, enjoyed a visit to The Willows Dementia Hub in Rochdale.

The facility provides high-quality care and support for people across the borough of Rochdale who are living with dementia.

The councillors had a tour of the building, chatted with residents, relatives and staff, and saw at first hand the high-quality care support provided for older and vulnerable people.

Councillor Wazir said: "This is a high class facility providing the best possible care for people living with dementia. It was an enjoyable and insightful visit, seeing at first hand the compassionate support the team provides for residents, showcasing Rochdale's caring side at its very best."
