🚗 VOLUNTEER DRIVERS NEEDED 🚗

Over the last two weeks, Community Volunteers Wales has seen more than double the usual number of requests for our Transport to Health service.

Every day, local people rely on our volunteers to help them attend hospital appointments, GP appointments, clinics, treatment sessions and other essential healthcare appointments.

As demand continues to grow, we urgently need more volunteer drivers to join our friendly team.

By volunteering just a couple of hours a week or a month, you could help someone access vital healthcare that they may otherwise struggle to reach.

We are looking for people who:
✅ Hold a full driving licence
✅ Are friendly, reliable and community-minded
✅ Can spare a few hours when available

We have 2 vehicles; a 7 seater and a 16 seater. Or if you prefer, you can use your own vehicle (fuel costs will be reimbursed).

A D1 licence is preferable but not essential.

Mileage expenses are reimbursed, and full support will be provided.

If you've ever thought about volunteering, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in someone's life.

Just a reminder that Snug Risca is open on Bank Holiday Monday, so if you don’t fancy cooking, want a good coffee, or just fancy getting out of the house for a bit, you’ll be very welcome ☕💛

We’re running two lovely Easter craft sessions at The Snug in The Sycamore Centre this Easter holiday.

For **£8.00 per child**, each child will receive:
🥪 Lunch box
🧃 Drink
👑 Decorate an Easter Bunny Ears Crown
🧁 Decorate cupcakes
🍪 Decorate biscuits
🎨 Lots of Easter crafting
🎁 Everything they make comes home with them

Looking for something new?
Fancy a challenge?
Want to meet people and learn new skills?
Our community coffee shop, Snug, is looking for volunteer baristas to join the team.

This opportunity could suit:
• School leavers looking for experience
• Anyone wanting to build their CV
• People hoping to gain confidence and new skills
• Those who simply want to get out more and be part of their community

No previous barista experience is required. We will provide training and support as part of our friendly volunteer team.

Volunteering with Community Volunteers Wales means learning practical skills, meeting new people, and helping to create a welcoming community space for everyone.
