Wholemeal Cafe is part of The Real Junk Food Project network, tackling astronomical levels of perfectly edible food going to waste and distributing it through Cafes, Freegan Boxes, Sharehouses and partnerships with community projects.
At Wholemeal Café Ripon, our team of volunteers intercept surplus food, destined that would otherwise be wasted and give it a second life, as the delicious, wholesome meal it always should have been. All food is available on a Pay As You Feel basis, and the café is open to all. Time and donations are accepted, as well as money.
