September already!

With autumn now in sight and the August Bank Holiday just behind us, why not treat yourself to a little something here at Realitea?

We were busy baking yesterday, getting everything ready for all our lovely customers — as you can see from the picture!

And how wonderful are these sunflowers? Such a beautiful symbol of joy and happiness, and the perfect way to brighten the start of September.

We’re back!

After a lovely little break, we’re feeling refreshed and re-energised and looking forward to welcoming you back to the tea room from 10.00am today.

We’ve been busy in the kitchen making and baking to replenish the cake cupboard with all your favourites — so there’s plenty of temptation waiting for you ☺️.

Our coffee machine is warmed up and ready to go, and we’re all ready to serve up your favourite coffees, teas, cakes and plenty of good conversation.

So whether you’re joining us for a catch-up with friends, a quiet cuppa and a cheeky slice of cake, or simply popping in to say hello, we’d love to see you.

Hello lovely Ripon!

Just a little reminder that the Realitea Team will be back at your favourite Indian tea room very soon!

Our doors reopen on Tuesday 25th August, and we’ll all be ready and waiting to welcome you back — with a cake cupboard full of tempting treats, a warm welcome and the coffee machine fired up and ready to go.

In the meantime, we’re delighted to remind you about the annual photography exhibition being held by our friends at Ripon City Photographic Society next Saturday, 29th August.

We’re told there will be well over 200 photographs on display to enjoy — that’s quite an exhibition and certainly sounds worth a visit!

Wishing all our wonderful customers a very happy Independence Day!

Happy Anniversary Realitea! 🎉

Yes, today marks 12 years since Realitea first opened its doors, introducing the good folk of Ripon to something a little different — our little Indian Tea Room, serving savoury and sweet treats with an Indian twist and, we hope, a little bit of magic.

Over the years, we’ve been incredibly fortunate to have had some wonderful, dedicated people working as part of the Realitea team — and that tradition continues today. We’re so grateful to every one of you for your hard work, enthusiasm and commitment. Thank you so much.

A big thank you also goes to the team at Mario's Restaurant 27 on Kirkgate for giving the Realitea team such a fantastic time when we celebrated our anniversary earlier this week — as seen from this photo.

And finally, our biggest thank you goes to the huge number of marvellous customers who have supported us over the past 12 years, shared kind words, returned time and time again, and helped make Realitea what it is today.

We look forward to welcoming you all again soon.

Good luck to all those who are expecting their A level results today - we’re keeping our fingers crossed for you all. 😊
