๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ† BREAKING NEWS! WE ARE WINNERS! ๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ”ฅ
We are absolutely delighted and incredibly proud to announce that JAFLONG INDIAN & BANGLADESHI RESTAURANT has been named BEST BANGLADESHI RESTAURANT OF THE YEAR at the 15th Annual English Curry Awards 2026! ๐Ÿคฉ๐Ÿ…๐ŸŽ‰
What an incredible moment! Standing on that stage, holding the award, I was honestly speechless. I didnโ€™t know what to say or how to explain what I was feeling.
My biggest wish at that moment was that my father was still alive so I could share this wonderful news with him. Life doesnโ€™t always give us the people we wish could be there for our biggest moments, but I know he would have been incredibly proud. โค๏ธ
This award belongs to all of us. We are so proud of everyone who has been part of the Jaflong journey โ€” our amazing and loyal customers who have become part of the JAFLONG FAMILY, and our incredible team.
A very special thank you to Shawon, Amir, Parvin, Leikken, and of course our fantastic kitchen team, whose magic hands and dedication make every dish special. โค๏ธ๐ŸŒถ๏ธ
Without your hard work, passion and commitment, this achievement would not have been possible.
๐Ÿ™ A heartfelt thank you to everyone who nominated and supported Jaflong.
And a huge thank you to the Ripon community for coming together, celebrating with us and continuing to support our restaurant. Your support means more than you know. โค๏ธ

Hello ๐Ÿ‘‹ Ripon,

Itโ€™s Ivy from Jaflong! I have so many favourite people here. We became friends because of our shared love for curries and my recommendations ๐Ÿ˜„. Lots of my friends come in and ask, โ€œWhat should I eat?โ€ I ask them a few questions, recommend something, and then they expect me to remember their favourites forever! Iโ€™m getting old now ๐Ÿ˜‚, but I still love creating new dishes and experimenting with new flavours.

Now, straight to the important part โ€“ a few recommendations for our curry lovers:

๐ŸŒถ Raissa Karahi
This curry will melt in your mouth. Itโ€™s made using my motherโ€™s traditional spice blend and cooked with king prawns, marinated mutton, ginger and garlic paste, onions, and peppers. If you love Bhuna and rich Asian-style spices, youโ€™ll absolutely love this dish. I honestly canโ€™t recommend it enough โ€“ Iโ€™m addicted to it myself!

๐ŸŒถ Vensi
Tender chicken pieces cooked with fresh cream and our homemade spice sauce, then garnished with fresh coriander, peppers, and sliced onions. A deliciously creamy dish packed with flavour.

For all our curry lovers, give them a try and let me know which one becomes your new favourite! โค๏ธ

Good morning everyone! โ˜€๏ธ

It's another exciting day as we celebrate reaching the semi-finals! This is a huge achievement for us, and we believe anything is possible if we give our very best.

As we saw yesterday, even the seemingly unbeatable France were knocked out. Maybe it was overconfidenceโ€”but I said to my staff that if France lost, then this could be England's World Cup. Hopefully, we'll see that dream come true! ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿ†

To celebrate, Jaflong is giving all our amazing customers a special treat if England win! โค๏ธ

What a match! One of the greatest performances I've ever witnessed. Playing with 10 men, England showed incredible unity, determination, hard work, and fighting spirit. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง

It's easy to sit back and criticize, but stepping onto the pitch and performing with such character is something truly special. What a masterpiece! ๐Ÿ‘Œ

A huge congratulations to the entire England team, especially and , for leading with passion and class. ๐Ÿ‘

So proud of you all. Love this team! โค๏ธโšฝ
