New Forest Cake House Welcome to the New Forest Cake House. We take pride in making our cakes using the best quality ingredients, focusing on locally sourced produce.

We bake from scratch in the heart of The New Forest and are proud to be part of The New Forest Marque. Nestled on the edge of the Forest we were previously known as Pauline's Pantry

We took over Pauline’s Pantry in 2018 and have maintained the previous high standards along with introducing new lines and a dietary range suitable for gluten-free, dairy-free and vegan. Here we take great pride in our cakes and realise that the quality of the ingredients we use is key to the finished product. We do not use cake mix in any of our cakes or puddings and we ensure that each cake produced reflects how a homemade cake should be.

And so it begins part 2 !!
Christmas Puddings this time.
And yes, the mix is hand stirred and wishes made, with every batch we make. Regrettably no silver 6 pence ( elf & safety / choking hazard etc 🙄) 🎅🎅

HAVE YOU SEEN HIM...? 🌾🍰

Although there were no Bisterne Scarecrows this year, we couldn't ignore the tradition. So, at the New Forest Cake House, we've had some fun and welcomed our very own straw baker - complete with apron, oven gloves, and 'cakes' galore.

If you're driving along the B3347 through Bisterne, give him a wave! 👋 But make sure to keep an eye out soon—rumour has it he’ll be moving on at the weekend...! 🏃‍♂️💨

He’s proudly pointing the way to some of the fantastic local cafes and farm shops we supply.
