Ladies only Riddlesden to Silsden Canal Walk

📍 Start: East Riddlesden Hall Cafe @ 10am - free parking if you're there early. (Car share / public transport encouraged)
🚶 Route: Leeds & Liverpool Canal → Silsden → return to East Riddlesden Hall
🥾 Distance: Approx. 5 miles
⏱️ Duration: Approx. 2 hours

Join us for a scenic out-and-back walk along the Leeds & Liverpool Canal, taking in peaceful countryside, canal-side views as we head towards Silsden.

Please bring:
• Comfortable walking boots/shoes
• Waterproof jacket and suitable layers
• Plenty of water and snacks/lunch
• Small rucksack
• Sun protection if needed

⚠️ Please note: Some sections may be muddy, uneven or slippery. Participants should be comfortable walking for 2 hours on the towpath.

So grateful Bradford Council's plan may save trees in Keighley too perhaps? These are beautiful, useful speimens already and I hope they will be preserved - whatever happens to the mill. Rushing home, I was so hot and took two seconds beside each of these trees. Aaaah, bliss!
