An invitation to slow down, settle in and enjoy the nurseries at their most peaceful.

Celebrating the best of autumn’s ingredients, our Friends of Petersham menu is a little gesture of thanks to those who return to us throughout the year, and a warm welcome to those discovering us for the first time.

There is a particular kind of magic that takes over Petersham Nurseries at Christmas. Wild foliage, festive floristry and hundreds of twinkling lights transform the Nurseries into an enchanting setting for gathering around the table.

Starting at the top of Richmond Hill, the path winds down towards the river and through Petersham Meadows, with the warmth of summer still lingering and the first subtle scent of autumn in the air.

At the end of the walk, hidden behind the greenery, Petersham Nurseries awaits. Step through the gates and wander between glasshouses and gardens, flowers, antiques and beautiful objects, before settling in for lunch, Afternoon Tea or a quiet moment over coffee.
