There is something about the flowers at this time of year. A little wilder, a little softer, and all the more beautiful for being fleeting.
We gathered a few late-summer stems and arranged them simply in our bud vases, made for those small cuttings from the garden that deserve a place of their own.
Discover our collection of bud vases online, alongside the final days of our Summer Sale, with selected pieces now 50% off.
A last little celebration of summer, for the home and garden.

It starts with the soil.
Our lamb comes from , where regenerative farming puts the health of the land first. Taking care of the soil today means protecting the land and how we grow for the future.
Our spiced lamb rack is served with yellow split peas, barley, herbs from our garden and mint yoghurt.
Now on the menu.

Guided by the rhythms of summer, our menu brings together the finest ingredients from British growers and regenerative producers, with seasonal produce harvested fresh from our kitchen garden.

From 22–28 June, Pollinator Week shines a light on the small but essential creatures that help our gardens and landscapes flourish.

Bees, butterflies, hoverflies and other pollinators play a vital role in supporting biodiversity, pollinating flowering plants and many of the crops we rely on. Yet their habitats continue to decline, making our gardens more important than ever.

The good news is that every outdoor space can make a difference. Whether it’s a flourishing garden, a terrace filled with containers or a single pot planted with nectar-rich flowers, each one can provide food and shelter for pollinators throughout the seasons.

This week, we are exploring the simple ways we can all create spaces where wildlife can thrive.

Discover our collection for pollinators online, explore our Gardening Services, and join us in supporting the insects that help our gardens flourish.

Everything starts with pollination.

Before an ingredient reaches the kitchen or a dish arrives at the table, pollinators have already played their part. Their quiet work supports the flowers, fruits, herbs and vegetables that shape every season.

This upcoming Pollinator Week, we are celebrating the remarkable role these small but essential creatures play in our gardens, our landscapes and the food we enjoy every day.

Join us in celebrating the beauty of pollination and the wildlife that makes every season possible.

Before the first guests arrive, every detail is in place.

The pool is prepared for the ceremony. Tables are laid beneath the trees. As dusk falls, the dance floor awaits beneath the moonlight.

A cherished part of Petersham Nurseries, our Murano collection reflects the Boglione family’s longstanding appreciation for this remarkable Venetian craft. Collected over many years by Francesco Boglione and his eldest daughter Lara, the collection brings together exceptional pieces sourced from Murano, home to generations of master glassmakers.

Our Summer Collection includes a selection of vintage Murano Scavo glass drawn from Francesco Boglione’s personal collection. Hand-blown in Murano and chosen for their colour, form and character, these sculptural vases are distinguished by the softly weathered finish for which Scavo glass is renowned.

In shades of sea blue, soft green, sun-washed yellow and chalky white, each piece is entirely unique, as singular as the breath that shaped it.

Produced decades ago and drawn from a private collection, these rare vintage pieces are offered in limited numbers.
