AN UPDATE ON OUR SPOT AT Queen's Market Rhyl
After our post about going to look at a potential new spot, we thought we better clear something up…
The Romi’ng Wolf isn’t leaving Queen’s Market.
There’s absolutely no way we could just pack up and leave Rhyl. The support we’ve had here has been second to none.
I’m just a cheeky lad from Birmingham who found himself in a rough situation back home and needed to get out. I came to North Wales not really knowing what to expect, and somehow it feels like every single one of you welcomed me into your hometown without a second thought.
You’ve supported my business, supported my family and given me the opportunity to build something I’m genuinely proud of. I’ll never forget that. 💙
And then there’s our coeliac community.
We know how difficult it is to find somewhere you can eat without worrying. Somewhere you can order fried chicken, loaded fries and proper comfort food without having to ask 100 questions first.
When someone tells you they’ve had “the best coeliac meal they’ve had in 20 years”, how could we take that away from North Wales?👀
Don’t get me wrong, we HAVE thought about leaving.
Winter in Rhyl is honestly one of the hardest challenges I’ve come across since starting this business. The caravan parks close, tourism drops and trade can become unbelievably quiet. There have been days where you question whether you can keep pushing through it.
But then summer comes back around, that shutter goes up, we see the same faces coming back through the market, meet people who have travelled to Rhyl specifically to eat with us… and you remember exactly why you’re here.
So no…
We’re not leaving North Wales
We’re not leaving Queen’s Market.
Hopefully, we’re just growing. 👀🐺
Rhyl welcomed a cheeky Brummie with an idea and gave him somewhere to call home.
Now we just hope we’ve given enough of you a reason to come and visit Rhyl too. 😉💙
